The Lisa Effect

Labubus (pronounced la-boo-boo) have become a worldwide trend LITERALLY. 

labubus actually have been around since 2015 but did not gain popularity till late 2024 till now (September 2025) 

Enter Lisa: Lisa is a singer in the girl group blackpink when performing august 16th 2025 which was the second night of Blackpink's deadline world tour at Wembley stadium she came on stage with a fuzzy pink skirt, shirt and mask inspired by a LABUBU 

Lisa has many times stated her love for labubus she even did a video for vanity fair revealing her secret obsession to be, pop mart! the video featured a giant labubu. Pop mart is where labubus are sold! The creator of labubu is Kasing Lung who created these creepy things called labubus as part of his series called The Monsters (illustrated books) 

Though it is divided sombr at this years VMA'S told  an interviewer he thinks labubus are out even though a couple weeks before he stated I'm a labubu in a world full of Dubai chocolate 

Do average people wear them? 

short answer would just be YES but I will obviously give you some examples. From purses to pants they are styled on EVERYTHING.

The above labubus are the cutest I could find! Fashionable or way to flawed?I absolutely love Lisa she is an amazing singer but I can not get behind the Labubu hype! sorry guys they look so scary! :(
