Fall fashion: fashionable or flawed?

Fall fashion changes EVERY single year. Lets start off by recapping last years fall fashion trends. 

last year in 2024 we saw a huge jump in styles with loafers. Especially with jeans. Olive green and brown also had a huge moment last year. One of the last memorable things from fall of 2024 I noticed was buttoned cardigans

2025

The rise of boots 

twenty-twenty fives boot moment has been astonishing. I hate to say it but I did believe this would happen. ANOTHER THING we all thought would never come back is here and i think to stay..... SKINNY JEANS. 

WERE THEM WITHOUT BOOTS I SHOUT 

you can't cause you look like a dad.......but they are still cute when styled correctly. 

In my opinion I think this come back of boots is actually the rise from Sabrina carpenters Short and Sweet tour as every night she wears these go-go type boots. Not to mention trends recycle every so often and these were huge in the mid 60's to early 70's. Granted that's just my guess. Sabrina carpenter  boots below ⤵

These ones are just brown but I'm sure you can imagine the bunches of color options 

2025's fall fashion color pallet 

As we mentioned earlier twenty-twenty fours fall color pallet was Olive greens and browns/beige's but what about 2025's? Its safe to say that this years autumn is being defined by  RED and BLUE I know this may seem extremely weird but navy blue and dark red are every where this year! I feel like this is from the LADYBUG oriented summer we had. Red boots are gorgeous  and definitely a staple this year

2024's presence. 

big blazers and coats have been carried over from fall of 2024 

 The pic below is from the NY fashion week 2025 which I feel like always has an impact on fall fashion. These coats are def still in style! One thing we saw at the fashion week this year was that suit piece below which is very 2024 blazer.  Maybe its just me but that pink and big coat do not vibe. Maybe I'm just stubborn. Sweaters 

there is always a sweater style EVERY year cause fall = PSL'S and sweaters.

Striped sweaters are the biggest trend right now for this fall year. I LOVE THEM. I have seen many of them at thrift shops which I am SO here for. They scream vintage, but have a modern vibe to them. The one below from H+M also gives us the perfect example of the fall pallet for this year! One outfit I found ADORABLE was a blue and white striped sweater with jeans,converse and a red ball cap! 

The rise in leather. 

leather is also everywhere from the boots we talked about earlier to jackets! Again, especially RED 

Cheetah Print

Not only does Olivia Rodrigo style polka dots excellently (more about that on my blog entitled Polka Dots all the rage?) but she also ROCKS cheetah print. She has worn them out and about and even while on the Guts world tour! ⤵

 UGGs? 

One of the other things THAT IS STILL HERE literally from 2023 is ugg boots! They resurface every fall and winter! Are they cute? YESSS are they expensive? also YESS and not even waterproof even though the seasons you can wear them are very wet? ALSO YESSS

so they are cute but extremely unpractical!

Okay I Think that's it for this week I know its all kind of random but it does all correlate to 2025's fall fashion.
